About the author
Jalal al-Din Mohammad Balkhi Rumi (1207–1273), known simply as Molana, was a Persian Sufi mystic, poet, and theologian whose Masnavi-ye Ma’navi is regarded as “the Quran in Persian.” His poetry explores divine love, self-knowledge, and the soul’s journey toward unity with the beloved.
